Community

Safer spaces for the Canadian music community.

Sound Health Canada is built around the idea that the most powerful support often comes from the people closest to the work. These are the communities we're building with, not for.

Indigenous artists

A community-led space honouring First Nations, Inuit and Métis musical traditions and the artists carrying them today. Co-designed with Indigenous music workers.

Black artists & music workers

A space rooted in the legacy and present of Black music in Canada, from historic Black communities to the producers shaping what's next.

2SLGBTQ+ music workers

Affirming, judgement-free peer support and connection for queer and trans music workers across the country.

Touring crew & production

For the people behind the boards, in the loft, and on the truck. The folks whose mental health is too often overlooked.

Working artists

Songwriters, performers, recording artists. A place to talk shop and to talk about the rest of it too.

Families & loved ones

The partners, parents, and kids of music workers. You're carrying things too. This space is for you.

Land acknowledgement

We live, work and make music on the ancestral and unceded territories of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples across this land.

We are guests on these lands. We honour the treaties signed here, and we recognize that the work of supporting mental health in this music community is inseparable from the work of respecting Indigenous sovereignty, stories, and song.
