About

A platform built from the inside of the room.

Sound Health Canada exists because the people who make music in this country deserve mental health support that understands the work. Until now, there hasn't been a dedicated digital home for it.

Our mission

To connect music industry professionals and their families across Canada to trusted mental health, wellness and industry support that is free, confidential, and rooted in community.

Our vision

A music industry where checking in is as normal as checking your monitor mix. Where calling a crisis line at 2am isn't a last resort. It's a known door. And where every music worker in Canada, in every province and territory, can reach support built by people who understand the work.

Why now

The 2026 SOUNDCHECK report, the first national study of its kind, confirmed what music workers have been saying for years. Between 50 and 86% of Canadian music professionals experience mental health challenges, compared to roughly 12% of the general workforce. 53% have felt life was not worth living. Music workers in every region are part of that picture, and there is no dedicated national digital hub to help them find support. We're building it.
